One of my nephews really wants a dolls house so I’m going to buy him one for his birthday in April, but the problem is the ones I looked at in the store are all pink/girly, is there any place I can find one that just looks like a normal house with bricks or wood or something on the front?

if he likes the “house”aspect of it-get him some lincoln logs.
if he likes the furniture and the things like that, there are fisher price dollhouses that are blue, red & white. (toys r us)
my son plays with dollhouses too. he gets his tonka trucks and puts the furniture in the back and acts like he is moving from house to house. i bought him the lincoln logs, and he puts houses to gether with those too, and uses the furniture from the dollhouse. he’s 8 now. good luck!

Most of these are kits and It would be fun to be able to put them together as an uncle/nephew things. There are some nice log cabin ones. You didnt say what you were looking to spend or how old he is.
Can you buy one of the ones in the store and just repaint it? Also, i’ve seen yellow ones and yellow is a pretty gender neutral color.

Sorry but maybe try a bigger toy store like toys-r-us or something that specializes in just toys (not walmart, target, etc.)
Maybe at a store like that, they would have a bigger selection and ones that wouldnt look as girly.

Toys are just toys and it is a greater crime to squash the creative play desires a boy or girl has just because it is perceived as against their gender than to try and find something that will satisfy their desire for the toy yet protect them against idiots like you and those children they play with who have been taught that boys and girls should play with certain types of toys.
more upscale toystores often have all-wood ones that are unpainted. our kids painted one themselves that we got at a local toystore.
In the UK the early learning centre do a wooden gender neutral one.
