Hello. I am having trouble finding custom made wooden (mahogany, walnut, cherry, etc.) tables, chairs, about 1:6 or 1:1 scale that would be suitable for Barbie, Gene, Tyler Wentworth, etc. sized dolls which are approx 11.5″ or taller. I am looking for affordable fine furnishings with moving pieces and no plastic furniture. Does anyone have a website they can refer me to? Thank you for your help.

And the world also wants skilled labor for below minimum wage and less than the price of materials. There aren’t “affordable” fine wooden furnishings in either 1:6 or 1″:1′ scale.
Go to place that sells fine fine furniture and check the prices and note where it was manufactured. Divide the price by 10 and you have low-price fantasy. For *fine* miniature furniture, it takes nearly as long to construct as a full-size piece. Most “Western” craftsfolk would sooner not sell than try to complete with China, etc.
If your fantasy was American Southwestern or early Colonial, there wouldn’t be as many flutes and frills. There are special tools for late Colonial moldings, etc. for 1″:1′ that aren’t available at all for Barbie scale.
I suggest beginning with 1″:1″ websites and look for the styles you like and you’ll find craftspeople you can appreciate. The best usually have waiting lists rather than stockpiles. Many may work in Barbie Scale if there’s a substantial advance payment.
